ACDelco naming convention rather than an original Autolite designation. If you map this exact geometry over to the Autolite application database, it interchanges directly with the
Autolite 23 Copper Resistor Spark Plug (or
Autolite 24 depending on regional heat-range preferences).
It is a specialized colder heat-range plug engineered to dissipate high amounts of thermal energy quickly, making it a favorite for suppressing pre-ignition and engine detonation under heavy loads.

Because it functions as a colder-running variant of GM's standard stock R44TS plug, this configuration fits heavily modified street machines, high-RPM track builds, and standard General Motors (Chevrolet, GMC, Pontiac, Buick, Oldsmobile) performance V8 engines from the 1970s and 1980s:
- Chevrolet Corvette & Camaro Z28: 1970–1981 (Highly popular for small-block 350 cu. in. high-performance variants).
- Chevrolet & GMC Pickups (C10/C20/K10): 1975–1986 (Fits utility performance 5.7L 350 and big-block 7.4L 454 V8 truck configurations).
- Pontiac Firebird / Trans Am: 1975–1979 models running Pontiac-built small-block V8 assemblies.
- Buick Regal / Grand National: Early 1980s performance variants.
- Marine Inboards: Common replacement plug for vintage MerCruiser, Volvo Penta, and OMC 5.0L (305) and 5.7L (350) marine V8 blocks operating at sustained high throttle positions

These parts came from an
abandoned warehouse in Louisville Kentucky, after G.W. Toohey closed his 15
parts stores in the Kentucky area in 2001
We collected and shipped close to
200,000.00 new and reman N.O.S. parts from this Warehouse.
The Toohey parts stores were
closed in 2001 and the parts we have for sale are all new or remanufactured
parts from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.
The net proceeds from these parts
go to the non-profit foundation in the efforts to fund our goals and help older
and future motorheads

afford to offer free shipping or free boxes and tape. Every time you purchase a
item from us. A true motorhead pulls the part, wraps it for safe shipping and
boxes the part.
This all cost money. so we use terms like box
rate A, B, or C
This is because some things are easy to ship and
other take a lot of time.
We charge a handling fee accordingly.
