ABOUT THE COLLECTIONS OF PARTS
Lets start out with every collection of parts is different, these parts collection come at us in different ways.
The Corvette collection;
is a collection from a shop owner that is closing his shop. we have been offered the chance to sell this collection. and help, Mr. Still close out his shop. he has a large collection of new and used parts from the 60 yrs of running a Body shop and corvette restoration facility. Only a small portion of the proceeds go to our foundation.
The Toohey collection
These parts is Mostly NORS parts
This means they are (New Old Replacement Stock): Aftermarket, period-correct replacement.
while there are a few NOS original parts. This collection was bought and a partial Donation. But we had to pay for packing, shipping, and removal of these parts from the old warehouse.
The Mopar shop collection
was a complete donation. all parts from this collection was donated.
Why All This Matters
all these inventories come to us but they must still be cataloged and itemized and readied for sale, then put into the store front.
this means it cost money, and that's why we say "the net proceeds"

Our mission focuses on providing hands-on automotive restoration and repair tech classes and services, with immersive museum experiences, and education programs that equip, individual's with technical expertise and knowledge needed to thrive in the automotive industry.

automotive history, especially the Delaware racing history is not forgotten!

We aspire to be nationally recognized leaders in automotive
restoration tech class training, and historic preservation. Our vision is to
offer tech classes and curate an exceptional automotive museum that showcases
classic and vintage vehicles, educates the public, and serves as a cornerstone
for those looking to build automotive repair and restoration careers. As well
as helping people save and share the rich history of the racers and motorheads
While many foundations do things like this thru grants and
donations, we decided as the true motorheads we are, To go out and find the
funds ourselves. With grit and hard work. Just as we would go out to find ways to fund our own builds thru the years..
“WE DECIDED TO WORK FORT IT”
By working with the men that are selling off their collections
so they can retire, or collections that are being liquidated for other reasons
such as downsizing or death we do not wish to see any good parts throw away.
Thru them offering us donations and or offering us a percentage of the sales to
be donated directly to the foundation. We can help to return these parts back
to the car culture and the Motorhead community.
In some cases, as with the Toohey collection, we are willing
to look at and evaluate any parts collection. Whether it be a full donation or
a partial donation. We will help offer ways to return good parts back to the
past and present motorheads that still need good parts to build their projects.
By us doing this it insure that no good parts or collections will be lost to
the crushers or simply throw away in the dumps.
