The
TOMCO 17001 Air Pump Check Valve
is a widely used emissions component that fits a broad range of
domestic and import vehicles from the mid-1960s through the early 2000s.
General Motors Applications
This part is heavily utilized across several GM divisions for engines ranging from 4-cylinder to V8 configurations.
- Buick: Fits many models including the Buick Century (1979-1989), Buick Regal (1981-1993), Buick Riviera (1981-1988), Buick Electra (1981-1988), and Buick Skylark (1966-1985).
- Cadillac: Compatible with models such as the Cadillac Allante (1991-1992) and various other Cadillac vehicles from 1980–1990.
- Chevrolet: Fits passenger cars from 1966–1982 and Chevrolet Trucks (like the Chevrolet G10) from 1973–1991.
- Oldsmobile & Pontiac: Broad fitment for models from 1966–1992, including the Oldsmobile Cutlass and Pontiac Grand Prix.
Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep Applications
For Mopar vehicles, the 17001 often serves as an air cleaner or secondary air injection check valve.
- Dodge: Fits a wide array of trucks and vans from 1994–2002, including the Dodge Ram 1500/2500/3500, Dodge Dakota, Dodge Durango, and Dodge Caravan. It also fits older models like the Dodge Daytona (1993).
- Jeep: Various applications for models produced between 1980–1992.
- Chrysler/Plymouth: Compatible with various models from 1979–1982.
Import and Specialty Applications
According to Tomco and secondary distributors, this valve also fits several European and Japanese imports:
- BMW: Fits models from 1964–1976.
- Jaguar: Fits models from 1972–1985.
- Nissan/Datsun: Various applications from 1969–1980.
- Volkswagen: Models produced between 1974–1980.
- Other Makes: Includes some AMC (1981–1986), Isuzu (1988–1992), Fiat (1974–1984), and Peugeot (1979–1980).

About Toohey Parts collection
These parts came from an
abandoned warehouse in Louisville Kentucky, after G.W. Toohey closed his 15
parts stores in the Kentucky area in 2001
We collected and shipped close to
200,000.00 new and reman N.O.S. parts from this Warehouse.
The Toohey parts stores were
closed in 2001 and the parts we have for sale are all new or remanufactured
parts from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.
The net proceeds from these parts
go to the non-profit foundation in the efforts to fund our goals and help older
and future motorheads

About Shipping and Handling
We are not some big Corp. That can
afford to offer free shipping or free boxes and tape. Every time you purchase a
item from us. A true motorhead pulls the part, wraps it for safe shipping and
boxes the part.
This all cost money. so we use terms like box
rate A, B, or C
This is because some things are easy to ship and
other take a lot of time.
We charge a handling fee accordingly.
Between 2.50 and 25.00 (large bulky items)
As we work to make our store front better, we will
be offering other shipping companies
But at this time we only offer UPS shipping service
