1979 Custom Corvette wide body Greenwood/Motion Body kit

This Corvette is still currently for sale but listed in other places

Let me explain before you lose your mind on my title.

My name is Cuda Bill from the MotorHeadMen Foundation. I am currently working with Ronny Still from Delaware.

To help sell his collection of Classic Corvettes and collector parts. Ronny still has been in business since 1965 building mostly and mainly Corvettes

Mr. Ronny’s is very meticulous in his builds and has done frame off restorations since the 70s. He has done many many corvettes over his 60 yr history of running his corvette shop

This car came to him with what at the time was called a wide body flare kit. Now this kit was somewhere between the greenwood GT and the the can am spider built from Joel Rosen of motion performance

In the late 70s Burt and john Greenwood (corvette racing legends) worked with Eklers corvettes and Joel Rosen to develop wide body custom kits. The plan was to offer them for sale.. Although they never became widely used in the day because of the expense and the time it took to install them.

This 1979 corvette is a 350 four barrel automatic car. This car has had a Full frame off restoration

This corvette has had the following work completed to it

The frame was stripped completely bare, then blasted and treated with epoxy primer and then sprayed in two coats of gloss black.

It was then re assembled with all new components

All new bushings and bearings where used in the assembly, with the original corvette parts as it was re assembled.

The rear center section was gone thru and checked and made fresh, bringing it to proper specs.

The front suspension was also rebuilt and re installed in the car along with front and rear heavy duty sway bars.

All new brake lines and fuel lines where run and installed.

The 350 four barrel motor was then gone thru and checks for issues and re gasketed. The turbo 350 auto Trans was sent out and re build to factory specs.

This car is ready to fill with fuel and started up. At this time the carb. Was rebuilt and is dry, along with a fresh gas tank. Fuel has not been put into the system. If wanted after purchase we will put fuel into it and show that it runs.

The body was then bolted back to the frame and all the fiberglass work was finished and then blocked down. It was then sprayed with urethane primer . and stored in the shop to decide a color. All door open and close properly with good door hinges and glass work checked for alignment. It will need a new windshield as the black strip at the bottom is the wrong one.

This car is ready for paint and finish the assembly 95 % of the parts are here with the car and all have been rebuilt except the seats and the interior.

Please look over the pictures very well and ask any and all question before you bid. it has been stored in a controlled garage for the last five yrs. and is waiting for the right person to finish it.
